Introduction to the township: Xiangcheng County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, with a total area of 5016 square kilometers. The total population is 30,000 (2006) and the Tibetans are more. The county governs three district working committees, one town and eleven townships. The township is a Tibetan language, meaning the place of beading (beads). Because the county crosses between the Shuoqu River and the Dingqu River, the rivers on both sides of the river are like a string, and its richness is like a string of pearls. The Han Dynasty is a white wolf country, the Tang Dynasty is Tubo, and the Guangxu thirty-four years set the township. In 1951, it was renamed Xiangcheng County.
