Introduction to Yajiang: Yajiang, (Tibetan: nyag-chu-kha), located in the south of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province (latitude 29°03′-30°30′, longitude 100°19′-101°26′), historically It is one of the important ferries of the Yalong River. It is adjacent to Kangding County in the east, Muli County in Liangshan Prefecture in the south, Litang County in the southwest, and Daofu and Xinlong County in the north. The area is 7,637 square kilometers. In 1990, the total population was 36,474, including 31,652 agricultural population, 4,822 non-agricultural population, 32,951 Tibetans, and 3,504 Han people. The rest were ethnic groups such as Hui, Yi and Yi. The population is about 40,800 (2001), with four districts, sixteen townships and one town.
