Ganzi Introduction: Ganzi County is located in the northern part of Ganzi Prefecture, and the heartland of Kangbei District is under the jurisdiction of Sichuan. Ganzi County is a mountainous county town, surrounded by mountains and waters. Ganzi County is 3,390 meters above sea level and 385 kilometers away from the state capital of Kangding. In the northwest of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, the upper reaches of the Yalong River. “Ganzi” is the name of the temple, meaning a beautiful white place with a history of 1,300 years of establishment. Ganzi County has a total area of 7,357 square kilometers. By the end of 2006, there were 58,000 people in Ganzi County. There are 11 ethnic groups in Ganzi County, including Tibetan, Han, Hui, Miao, Yi, Zhuang, Buyi, Manchu, Bai, and Tujia. Tibetans account for more than 95%.
