Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (Zhuangwen: Gvangjsih Bouxcuegh swcigih) is referred to as Guijiang in Guijiang, the capital of Nanning, with 14 prefecture-level cities, 7 county-level cities (prefecture-level city escrow), and five ethnic minorities in China. One of the autonomous regions is the only coastal autonomous region in China. It is located in the western part of South China, bordering Guangdong, Hunan, Guizhou and Yunnan from east to west, north to the south, southeast to southeast, and southwest to Vietnam. It is the most convenient sea passage in the southwest and economic exchanges between China and Southeast Asia. It occupies an important position.
Guangxi is the host of the China-ASEAN Expo and the venue for the 2014 World Gymnastics Championships. The area is home to Zhuang, Han, Yao, Miao, Yi, Jing, Hui and other ethnic groups.
