Zepu Introduction: Zepu County belongs to Xinjiang Kashgar, in the southwest of Xinjiang, north of Kunlun Mountain, Shandong side of Karakorum, and the western edge of Taklimakan Desert. The west is bounded by the Yarkant River, facing the Shache County. The east and the southeast are adjacent to the Yecheng River and Yecheng County, and the southwest is connected to the Yecheng County boundary. Zepu County is a warm temperate continental arid climate with an annual average temperature of 11.4 °C, an extreme maximum temperature of 39.5 °C, and an extreme minimum temperature of -22.7 °C. In 2012, Zepu County achieved a total production value of 2.414 billion yuan, and completed a fixed asset investment of 1.96 billion yuan, an increase of 15.9% over 2011. The total retail sales of consumer goods reached 294 million yuan, an increase of 20% over 2011. The general budgetary revenue of local finance was 162 million yuan, an increase of 11.58% over 2011.
