Introduction to Dali: Dali City, in the west of Yunnan Province in China, is the resident of the state government of the Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture. Dali City is located in the Bohai Plain on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. It is the capital of the ancient Nanzhao Kingdom and the Dali Kingdom. It is the political, economic and cultural center of ancient Yunnan. It has been around for more than 500 years. In 1982, Dali was listed by the Chinese government as one of the first 24 historical and cultural cities in the country. Dali City is the first batch of the top ten charming cities in China. It is a minority ethnic group with a population of 1468 square kilometers. The city has 610,000 people, of which the Bai people account for 65%. It consists of 10 towns and 1 ethnic township. There are 20 neighborhood committees and 109 villages. The Municipal People's Government is stationed in Xiaguan Town. Places of historic interest and scenic beauty include the Lushan Scenic Area and the Taihe City Site.
