Introduction to Blackwater: Heishui County is a county in the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province. It is connected to Maoxian in the southeast, close to Lixian in the southwest, Hongyuan County in the west, and Songpan in the east. It is 317 kilometers away from Chengdu, the provincial capital, and 98 kilometers away from the 9th Ring Road. Heishui County has a total area of 4,356 square kilometers. Heishui County is named after the Heishui River in the territory. Blackwater is a Chinese-style translation of the word "chore", "the measure" of the meaning of iron, the meaning of "qu" water, extending to black water. Because the river runs through the whole territory, the river is called black. Heishui County has tourist attractions such as Kalonggou Scenic Area, Dagu Glacier and Sanao Snow Mountain. There are also specialties such as sauerkraut, butter tea, corn bran, and alcohol. In 2009, Heishui County completed a local GDP of 439.18 million yuan.
