Jinchuan Introduction: Jinchuan County is located in the northwestern Sichuan Plateau, southwest of the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture. It is located on the eastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and upstream of the Dadu River. It covers an area of 5,432 square kilometers and has a total population of 70,000. The county has 14 ethnic groups including Tibetan, Yi, Hui and Han. The agricultural population accounts for 80%, and the minority population accounts for 75%. It is a plateau mountainous county with multi-ethnic inhabitants and agriculture. National Highway 317 and Provincial Highway 211 run through the territory, and the county has basically achieved communication coverage. The county borders Xiaojin County in the east, Litang County in the west, Danba County in Ganzi Prefecture in the south, and Malcon County in the north. It is 487 kilometers away from Chengdu, the provincial capital, and 92 kilometers away from Malkang, where the state government is located.
