Introduction to Jintang: Jintang County is in the northeast of Chengdu Plain. The county borders Zhongjiang County in the east, Qingbaijiang District and Longquanyi District in Chengdu in the west, Lezhi County and Jianyang City in the south, and Guanghan City and Zhongjiang County in the north. The county seat is 28 kilometers from Chengdu Central District, 20 kilometers from Guanghan City, 45 kilometers from Zhongjiang County, 18 kilometers from Qingbaijiang District and 36 kilometers from Longquanyi District. The county covers an area of 1156 square kilometers. It contains 21 townships and 2 provincial industrial development zones. Jintang is a key development county within the “Chengdu Plain Economic Circle” and a “characteristic industrial development zone” in Chengdu. Zhonghe, Pihe and Beihe pass through the city and have the reputation of “Tianfu Garden Water City”. It has been rated as “the county with advanced county economic development” in 2013. It ranks 52nd among the top 100 counties in western China.
