Introduction to Maojian: Maojian District is a county-level district included in Shiyan City, Hubei Province, in the middle of the Shiyan region. The Shiyan Economic Development Zone in the east is adjacent to Liuliping Town in Danjiangkou City; the west is roughly along the northeast and southwest of the Beifang Mountain-Beacon Hill-Niutou Mountain in the city center, and is connected to the Zhangwan District; the Dachuan Town of Nanda is adjacent to Fangxian County; Go to Wuyi Street and be adjacent to Hanjiang Road Street in Zhangwan District. As of 2013, Maojian District governs 2 townships, 1 town, 3 streets, 1 provincial economic development zone and 1 national nature reserve, 26 community residents committees, 37 villages, and 540 square kilometers of land. The cultivated land is 669.2 hectares. As of 2013, there were 273,200 household registrations in Maojian District, including 138,200 males. There are 397,700 people living in the district (including Bailang Street Office). The natural growth rate was 19.28‰, an increase of 7.52 points. Maojian District has become the political, economic, commercial, cultural and sports education center of Shiyan City and the largest auto parts processing and sales base in China. It is China's largest automobile axle production base and Dongfeng's important auto parts procurement base. It is also an important commodity circulation center in the neighboring areas of Hubei, Henan, Shaanxi and Anhui.
