Dean Profile: Dean County is located in the south of Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. It has a long history and is known as Shirahara in the third generation of Tang Dynasty. The Spring and Autumn Period is between Wu and Chu. It is commonly known as the "Chuwei Wutou". Dean County is located in the northern part of Jiangxi Province, in the middle of the Nanxun Line. It is connected to Xingzi in the east, Yongxiu in the south, Wuning in the west and Ruichang and Jiujiang in the north. In 2013, the county had 170,000 people. There are seven ethnic groups including Han, Hui, Yi, Zhuang, Miao and Tujia. The main dialect of the county is De'an (which belongs to the proverb Changdu film Duchang), and there is also a collection of Luan dialect-Yuan dialect (which belongs to the Huizhou Yanzhou film). Dean County has won the honors of National Health County, Jiangxi Provincial Health County, Jiangxi Provincial Garden County, Jiangxi Province, Civilized County, and Work Advanced County.
