Introduction to Huan County: Huan County is located in Qingyang City, Gansu Province, in the eastern part of Gansu Province and northwest of Qingyang City. The east and west are about 124 kilometers wide, and the north and south are about 127 kilometers long and 9236 square kilometers. As of 2012, there are 4 towns and 16 townships under the jurisdiction of the county, with a total population of 251 villages with a population of 353,100. They are mainly Han people, including Hui, Mongolian, Tibetan, Uyghur, Miao, Yi, Zhuang, Buyi and Korean. 13 ethnic minorities including Manchu, Yi, Tujia and Jingpo. In 2010, Huan County achieved a gross domestic product (GDP) of 2.588 billion yuan, calculated at comparable prices, an increase of 18.9% compared with 2009. It was rated as “National Grain Production Advanced County”, “China's Small Miscellaneous Grain Township”, and “Chinese Shadow Puppet”. The hometown is one of the main producing areas of cashmere, wool, leather and various meat products in the northwest.
