Introduction to Jingyuan: Jingyuan County is in the central part of Gansu Province. It is adjacent to Haiyuan County, Zhongwei City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, and close to Huining County, Gansu Province. The southwest, northwest and northeast are connected to Shapotou District of Zhongwei City, Jingtai County, Jingtai County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, and Silver City in the West. The district is handed over, and the Pingchuan District of Baiyin City is separated from it, and the county is divided into two parts, forming two parts of the north and the south. The east-west interval is 120 kilometers, and the north and south are 135 kilometers apart. Jingyuan County consists of 3 towns and 16 townships. The proven metal deposits in Jingyuan County include gold, silver, copper, iron and manganese. There are more than 10 kinds of non-metallic mineral deposits. There are 14 kinds of limestone, palygorskite, ceramic clay, gypsum and zeolite. In recent years, the reserves of extra-large palygorskite discovered in the latest exploration have reached 1 billion tons. In 2012, there were 476,500 people in Jingyuan County, including 430,000 in agriculture. These include Hui, Tibetan, Manchu, Mongolian, Dongxiang and other ethnic minorities. In 2012, Jingyuan County had the names of “plugging on the south of the Yangtze River”, “the land of fish and rice”, “the name of the famous 邑” and “the pearl of the Yellow River”.
