Introduction to Hengshan: Hengshan County is in the northern part of Shaanxi Province, and the Ordos grassland transitions to the Loess Plateau. In the 9th year of Qing Emperor Yongzheng (1731), Huainyuan County was established. In the third year of the Republic of China (1914), it was named after Anhui Huaiyuan and the main peak of Hengshan Mountain in the territory. The county governs 10 towns, 8 townships and 1 state-owned farm with 361 villages, with a total land area of 4,333 square kilometers. It is an important part of the national energy and chemical base under construction and the “West-East Gas Pipeline, West-West Coal-to-East, and West-East Power Transmission”. It is also a long-established border town and revolutionary old district.
