Introduction to Yaozhou: Yaozhou District is the district of Tongchuan City in Shaanxi Province. It is the natural gateway to Guanbei in the southern margin of the northern Hebei Plateau in central Shaanxi. It is known as the “Beishan Lock Key” and “Guanfuyu Throat”. Yaozhou has a long history and profound cultural heritage. It used to be the land of the ancient Yinkang, and it has a history of more than 2,160 years. In October 2002, the county was removed from the district. Here are the hometowns of the Sui and Tang Dynasties medical scientist Sun Sizhen, the Western Jin philosopher Fu Xuan, the Tang Dynasty calligrapher Liu Gongquan, the historian Ling Hu Dejun and the Northern Song Dynasty landscape painter Fan Kuan and other "one saint and four masters". There are many relics of cultural relics in the territory, such as Chinese medicine Wangshan, Daxiangshan Temple, and Shaanxi-Gansu border Golden Revolutionary Base. In the early 1930s, Liu Zhidan, Xie Zichang, Xi Zhongxun and other older generation proletarian revolutionaries created the first mountain revolutionary base in the northwest, the Shaanxi-Gansu border gold revolutionary base. The Shaanxi-Gansu-Guanzhao Golden Revolution Memorial Hall has been identified as the national patriotism education base and national defense education base, and the provincial-level party history education base is one of the 100 red tourism classic scenic spots in China.
