About Mangkang: Mangkang County is located in the southeast of Tibet Autonomous Region, the easternmost part of Changdu City, at the intersection of Sichuan, Yunnan and Tibet. It is adjacent to Batang County of Sichuan Province in the east, and Deqin County of Yunnan Province in the south, west and left. Gong County meets, and the north is connected with Gongjue and Chaya County. Mangkang Tibetan means “good area”, and in 2014 Mangkang County was 1,1632.2 square kilometers. Contains 2 towns and 14 townships (including a nationality township). 73,155 people in Mangkang County (2000), the total production value of Mangkang County was 51,154,450 yuan (the first half of 2012). The main tourist attractions include the Ancient Tea Horse Road, the Mangkang Golden Monkey Nature Reserve, the Wrong Scenic Area and the Niguo Temple.
