Introduction to Yongsheng: Yongsheng County is one of the counties in Lijiang City, Yunnan Province. The county is located in the northwest of Yunnan Province, in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, in the middle of Lijiang City, and in the county town of Yongbei Town. As of 2008, Yongsheng County governs 5 towns and 10 townships (including 7 ethnic townships). In 2010, Yongsheng County was 392,024 people, and in 2012 the local GDP was 4.48 billion yuan. Yongsheng is rich in products and is known as the “Northwest Granary ", "Fish and Rice Township". Rice, sugar cane, flue-cured tobacco and peanuts are the main crops. Yongsheng Chenghai is famous for its natural algae protein. Chenghai Spirulina is listed in the Yunnan Provincial Government's “18 Biological Development Project”. The tourist attractions of Yongsheng County include Chenghai, Lingyuan, Ancient Earthquake Site and Yangping Reservoir.
