Bijie Introduction: Bijie is a prefecture-level city included in Guizhou Province. In the northwestern part of Guizhou Province, the comprehensive strength ranks third in Guizhou Province, and Guiyang and Zunyi constitute the Golden Triangle of Guizhou, the hinterland of Wumeng Mountain, the key to Chuan, Yi and Yu, the Yangtze River. The barrier of the Pearl River is located in Guiyang City and Zunyi City in the east, Anshun City and Liupanshui City in the south, Zhaotong City and Qujing City in Yunnan Province in the west, and Zhangzhou City in Sichuan Province in the north. It is the birthplace of Wujiang, Beipanjiang and Chishui Rivers. Bijie has a long history. After the liberation, the Bijie Commissioner was established. In 1970, it was renamed the Bijie District Administrative Office. Bijie is rich in walnut, tea, raw lacquer, rape, pepper, garlic, gastrodia, eucommia, quince and other agricultural special products. Bijie City was personally advocated by Comrade Hu Jintao, who was appointed secretary of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee in June 1988, and the pilot zone established by the State Council was the place where China's “Western Development” kicked off.
