Introduction to Guzhang: Guzhang County, located in the western part of Hunan Province, east of central Hunan, south of Lishui, north of Weihe River. West to Baojing, east to Fuling, south to Jishou, Tunxi, north and Yongshun junction. It is 51.36 kilometers long from east to west and 40.52 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of 1297.45 square kilometers. Guyang Town is the seat of the county seat. It is the political, economic and cultural center of the county. It is one of the main producing areas of the famous “Guzhang Maojian” tea. In 2007, the county's total population was 138,500, of which ethnic minorities with Tujia and Miao nationality accounted for 85% of the total population.
