Introduction to Beihu: Beihu District, in the central part of Cangzhou City, Hunan Province, in the middle of the Nanling Mountains, north of the Qitian Ridge, the upper reaches of the Xiangjiang River. It is adjacent to Suxian District in the east and north, Guiyang County in the west, and Linwu and Yizhang County in the south. The north-south long straight line is 49.85 kilometers away, and the east-west wide line is 39.05 kilometers away. Beihu District governs 8 streets, 4 towns and 4 townships, with 826.8 square kilometers and 422,800 people (2011). Beihu District is the political, economic and cultural center of Cangzhou City. It is a provincial-level historical and cultural city with a history of more than 2,200 years. It is the southern gate of the province's economic development strategy identified by the Hunan Provincial Government.
