Introduction to Tieshan: Tieshan District is located in the west of Huangshi City, Hubei Province. It is rich in minerals and is named after iron ore. More than 1,700 years ago, the ancestors were here to dig and smelt. In the Han Dynasty, Dongfang Temple once studied hard; the national hero Yue Fei once built the "Sword of Daye"; at the end of the Qing Dynasty, the Governor of Huguang, Zhang Zhidong, built the first large-scale open-pit iron mine in China at that time. Daye Iron Mine, Tieshan has become the cradle of China's modern steel industry. The Tieshan Railway connects the two major arteries of Beijing-Guangzhou and Beijing-Kowloon, and the 106 National Road runs through the whole territory. The tourist landscape includes Huangshi National Mine Park, Lushan Mountain Park, Tieshan Temple and Huazang Temple. During the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, Tieshan will invest 20 billion yuan to build “World Iron City”.
