Fan County Introduction: Fan County is located in the northeastern part of Henan Province, on the north bank of the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River, and belongs to Fuyang City. It is connected to Xiangyang County and Taiqian County in Shandong Province and Yucheng County and Yanggu County in Shandong Province. It is a warm temperate continental monsoon climate with four distinct seasons, suitable temperature and sufficient sunshine. Fan County has a long history. It was founded in the early Western Han Dynasty (206 BC) and named after Fanshui in the south. It has been more than 2,200 years old and is the origin of Fan, Gu, Qin and Yao. Zheng Banqiao, one of the eight strangers, once served as a magistrate for five years. There are cultural monuments such as Danzhu Cultural Site, Xunzi Tomb, Suyou Tomb and Fan Wuzi Tomb. In June 2006, the revolutionary site in Yancunpu Township was named by the State Council as a “national cultural relics protection unit”. In 2007, the total production value of Fan County was 4.59 billion yuan. As of 2014, the county had a population of 590 square kilometers and a population of 504,000.
