Introduction to Zhangzhou: Zhangzhou is the capital of the enamel, the hometown of the opera; the province of Henan Province directly governs the city. In the central and western part of Henan Province, it is connected to Lushan in the north, Lufu in the south, Luoyang in the west, Huanghuai Plain in the east, and the Beitun River runs through the whole from west to east. 1,573 square kilometers, with a population of 1,056,000 (end of 2011). It consists of 4 townships, 11 towns, 5 streets and 453 villages. Quzhou City is in the grounding zone of Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Pingdingshan and Xuchang. The Jiaoliu Railway and the 207 National Highway run through the north and south, and are connected with the Longhai Line and the Beijing-Guangzhou Line. The Erguang Expressway and the Jiao (汝) Tong Expressway traverse the east and west, and are directly adjacent to the Beijing-Zhuhai and Lianhuo Expressway; the county-level highway and the “village-to-village” road cover the urban and rural areas, and the highways in the area are intertwined and form a convenient transportation network. The traffic is very convenient. Quzhou is known as the “Bali Coal Sea” and is an important energy and chemical base in the central region. It is the top 20 counties (cities) in central China. In 2010, it was established by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission of the provincial government as one of the 10 counties in Henan Province.
