Introduction to Yucheng: 郯(tán) City, located at the southernmost tip of Shandong Province, is a county under the jurisdiction of Linyi City; geographical coordinates are 118°05′-118°31′ east longitude and 34°22′-34°56′ north latitude. It is bordered by Xinyi in Jiangsu Province; in Zhangzhou City in the west; Lianyungang City in the east; and Linyi, Linyi and Lanling in the north, with a total area of 1,189 square kilometers and a total population of 940,000. Yucheng has a long history and splendid culture. As early as in the Shang Dynasty, the descendants of Shaohao’s descendants established the Yan State, which is the capital of Xu Guo, the largest party in the “Dongyi” group, and the source of ancient Xuzhou and Xuguo culture. It is also the ancestral tomb of Xu and the place to be traced.
