Wulian Introduction: Wulian, a county-level city that grew up with the New China, established Wulian County in May 1947, named after the beautiful Wulian Mountain in the territory, from the original Yubei, Ribei, and Tibetan horses. It is composed of some districts and townships in the county, with a total population of 510,000. It belongs to the Binbei area of ​​Jiaodong District. In May 1950, the Binbei area was abolished and changed to Jiaozhou Prefecture. In March 1956, the Jiaozhou Prefecture was rescinded and changed to Changyi Prefecture. It was transferred to Rizhao City by Weifang City in 1992 and has remained unchanged. Wulian was the typical representative of the mountainous area in the country that year, and the famous “Five Lotus Spirit” was born. The current forest coverage rate is also leading in the country, the national ecological demonstration base. In October 2013, Wu Lianchuang provincial garden city succeeded.
