Dushanzi Introduction: Dushanzi District belongs to Karamay City, Xinjiang. It is in the north of Tianshan Mountain, on the southwestern edge of Junggar Basin, Nanping Tianshan Mountain, near Kuitun City in the north, Wusu City in the west and Shawan County in the east. In 2010, there were 69,361 people in Dushanzi District, with a total area of 448 square kilometers. Dushanzi's place name comes from Dushan in the territory. In Uyghur and Kazakh, Dushanzi is called "Mayyak" and "Mayi", meaning "oil mountain". In 2013, the Dushanzi District achieved a regional GDP of 11.375 billion yuan.
