Introduction to Xiji: Xiji County is located in the south of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, west of Liupan Mountain. It belongs to the arid hilly area of the Loess Plateau. The terrain is low in the south and high in the north, with an altitude of 1688-2633 meters. It is 67 kilometers long from east to west and 74 kilometers wide from north to south. It is 63 kilometers away from Guyuan City in the east and 391 kilometers away from Yinchuan City in Ningxia. 3144 square kilometers. Xiji County governs 3 towns and 16 townships, 4 neighborhood committees, 306 villages, and 1909 villager groups. In 2011, there were 510,000 people in Xiji County, of which 468,000 were agricultural, accounting for 90.7%, and Hui was 294,000, accounting for 57%. Xiji County is in the center of the Loess Plateau. The terrain is low in the south, and the north, east and west are gradually increasing. At an altitude of 2,400 meters, Xiji County has three river systems, namely Hulu River, Qingshui River and Zu Li River, all of which are seasonal rivers. It is rich in tourism resources. There are ruins of the Qin Great Wall in the Warring States Period. There are natural landscapes such as the sweeping bamboo ridge, the buddha temple, and the stone city. There are rare karst landforms in the northwest and grottoes built during the Northern and Southern Dynasties. There are national forest parks, geological parks and 3A-level tourist scenic spots in the “Firestone Village Danxia Landform Scenic Area”. In 2013, Xiji County was “famous as the hometown of Chinese potato” and “Hometown of Chinese Celery”.
