Introduction to Luqu: Luqu County, a Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Gansu Province, is located in the southwestern part of Gansu Province, on the eastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and at the junction of Gansu, Qinghai and Sichuan provinces. It is 101°35′36′′ to 102°58′15′′ in the east. In 2013, Luqu County consisted of 2 towns, 5 townships, 5,298 square kilometers and 36,500 people. In 2013, the added value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery in Luqu County was 248.15 million yuan, an increase of 5.5%. The famous specialty products in Luqu County are mainly Tibetan mastiffs and fern pigs. The Lushi Forest in Luqu County is one of the three famous tourist attractions in the county. It is also a famous tourist attraction in Gannan Autonomous Prefecture and even Gansu Province. In 1998, Yanshilin and Bohai Lake were listed as national nature reserves.
