Lang County Introduction: Lang County, which belongs to the Nyingchi area of the Tibet Autonomous Region, is located in the southwestern part of the Nyingchi area in Lang County. The area is about 4,106 square kilometers and the Sino-Indian border line is 100 kilometers long. It consists of 3 townships, 3 towns, 51 villages, and 1 neighborhood committee (Lamba neighbourhood committee). In 2011, the county lived a total of 15,037 people, and the ethnic groups in the country were mainly Tibetans. In addition, there were Han, Menba, Mongolian and other ethnic groups and monks, of which Tibetans accounted for 99%. The county seat is 420 kilometers away from Lhasa and 240 kilometers away from Bayi Town, the resident office of Linzhi District. The special products mainly include many kinds of animal products, pepper, Fritillaria, Wulingzhi, grapes, apples, walnuts, Tibetan caps and wooden bowls. The Zhasa Saba Mountain in the territory is a Buddhist holy mountain. The thirteenth Dalai Lama, Tudeng Gyatso, and the home of the ninth Panchen Lagunima are in Lang County.
