Yingjiang Profile: Yingjiang County, in the west of Yunnan Province, northwest of Dehong Prefecture. Its northeast is connected with Tengchong County, the southeast is connected with Lianghe County, the south is connected with Luanchuan County, and the west, northwest, southwest and Myanmar are bounded. The border line is 214.6 kilometers long and is the largest county in Dehong. Yingjiang County governs 7 townships and 8 towns, 1 farm, 103 village (residential) committees, 1,152 villager groups, 4,429 square kilometers, and 306,705 people (2011). At the end of 2012, Yingjiang County's annual production value reached 5.74 billion yuan, an increase of 11.5%; Yingjiang is also known as Xiangcheng, known as "Chinese jade wool city" and "hometown of Chinese nuts." At 09:20 on May 30, 2014, a magnitude 6.1 earthquake occurred in Yingjiang County, Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, with a focal depth of 12 kilometers.
