Introduction to Midu: Midu County, in the west of Yunnan Plateau, southeast of Dali Prefecture, east to Xiangyun and Nanhua County, south to Jingdong and Nanzhang County, west to Lushan County, north to Dali City. It is 320 kilometers away from the provincial capital Kunming in the east, 61 kilometers away from the provincial government in the north, and 144 kilometers away from the Manwan Hydropower Station in the south. It is one of the birthplaces of the Red River and the hinterland belt of the middle reaches of the Minjiang River. The ancient name is “Liuyan Throat”, which is known as the hometown of lanterns and the hometown of folk songs. The famous lanterns of the lanterns, “Midu Folk Songs”, “Embroidery Pouch” and “Top Ten Sisters”, The folk song "Xiaohe Shushui", which is known as the Oriental Serenade, is from Midu.
