Kirin Introduction: Qilin District is the seat of Qujing City Government, the political, economic and cultural center of Qujing City. It is located in the eastern part of Yunnan Province, in the middle of the eastern plateau, in the upper reaches of the Nanpan River, east longitude 103°29′-104°14′, north latitude 25° Between 07' and 26° 06'. It is 137 kilometers away from Kunming, the provincial capital. It is adjacent to Fuyuan and Luoping County in the east, Luliang County in the south, Malong County in the west, and Zhanyi County in the north. It has a land area of 1,552.84 square kilometers and a population of 667,000. The terrain is high in the east and west, low in the north and south, and mountains, valleys, hills, and intertwined. The city is 1,875 meters above sea level. The Qujing Dam in the territory is 435.82 square kilometers and is the fifth largest dam in Yunnan. In 2013, the GDP was 49.4 billion yuan, and the fiscal revenue was 3.489 billion yuan. It ranks 4th in Guandu, Panlong and Wuhuaju in the Yunnan County Economic Ranking. Qilin District is known as the “Hedong Town” and the “Key to the Key”.
