Introduction to Sansui: Sansui County is in the eastern part of Guizhou Province and belongs to the Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture of Southeast Guizhou. It is one of the eastern exits of Guizhou Province and is known as the “Chengdong Fortress” and “Qianli Miaojiang Gateway”. The county governs 5 towns and 4 townships, 159 villages, 5 resident communities, 1035.8 square kilometers, and 221907 people (2013). The county people's government is located in Bazhi, 87 kilometers away from the state capital Kaili, and 247 kilometers away from the provincial capital Guiyang. Sansui duck is one of the four famous ducks in China. In 2007, Sansui Bamboo was listed as the intangible cultural heritage of Guizhou Province. In 2008, the Ministry of Culture named Sansui as “Hometown of Chinese Folk Culture and Art (Bamboo)”.
