Dege Profile: Dege County, located in the northwestern border of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province, China, on the southeastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, on the east bank of the Jinsha River, under the Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. The geographical position is between 31°24′12′′ to 32°43′40′′ north latitude and 98°12′25′′ to 99°39′28′′ ​​east longitude. It is adjacent to Ganzi County in the east, Baiyu County in the south, Jiangda County in the west and Jinsha River in the west, and Shiqu County in the north. It is the main transportation hub of Xijin to the west and Qinghai to the north, and is one of the most influential counties in the Tibetan area. The county covers an area of ​​11955.55 square kilometers, with a length of 137 kilometers from east to west and 146 kilometers from north to south.
