Introduction to Yuechi: Yuechi County, the hometown of Deng Xiaoping, the chief architect of China's reform, opening up and modernization, Guang'an City, Sichuan Province. In the northeastern part of the Sichuan Basin, Jianxian County was established in the second year of the Tang Dynasty (697). In January 1950, the Yuechi County People's Government was established. There are 22 towns, 21 townships and 1 Cuihui Association. Yuechi is located in the subtropical humid monsoon climate, with four distinct seasons, early spring, hot summer, cool autumn, warm winter, and warm in the spring. In the axis of the Central Sichuan Basin, it is rich in resources, including oil, natural gas, brine, rock salt and other resources. Yuechi is an important part of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone and is located within the Sichuan-Chongqing Cooperation Demonstration Zone and the Chongqing One-Hour Economic Circle. The famous festival Yuechi Farm Culture Tourism Festival is one of the top ten famous festivals in Sichuan. Well-known figures include Wu Xue, Yang Renqi, Liu Piyun and so on. As the hometown of the millennium fish and rice, since ancient times, it has been known as “Chuandong Granary”. Because it is rich in rice, it enjoys the reputation of “Yinyuechi”, so it is also called “Silver City”. Yuechi was awarded the “Source of Chinese Farmhouse” by the relevant state departments, “Hometown of Chinese Quyi” (first in the western region), “Hometown of Power Transmission and Transformation in China”, “First County of China White Agriculture”, “China "Hometown of Rice Flour", "Western China Pharmaceutical Industry City", "China's Top 100 E-Commerce Counties" and other honorary titles.
