Wenjiang Profile: Wenjiang District is the area of ​​Chengdu City, the heart of Chengdu Plain, and the ground. It is adjacent to Qingyang District of Chengdu in the east, Shuangliu County in the south, Chongzhou City in the west, and Jixian and Dujiangyan City in the north. The area covers an area of ​​277.8 square kilometers. Including 4 streets and 6 towns, the permanent population of Wenjiang District at the end of 2013 was 562,000, accounting for 2.89% of Chengdu's population. Since the establishment of the Western Wei Dynasty (AD 555), it has always been a political, economic and cultural center in western Sichuan. After liberation, it was the resident of the Wenjiang District Committee and the administrative department for a long time. In 1983, it was placed under the jurisdiction of Chengdu. In April 2002, the county was removed from the district and became an important part of the downtown area of ​​Chengdu.
