Brief introduction of Minjiang: Hanjiang District is located in the southeast of Chongqing City, in the hinterland of Wuling Mountain Area. It is known as the “Sui-E-Throat” and integrates the revolutionary old district, ethnic minority areas and remote mountainous areas. Hanjiang District is east to Xianfeng County of Hubei Province, west to Pengshui County, south to Shuyang County, and north to Lichuan City, Hubei Province. As of 2013, the size of the Hanjiang District was 2,402 square kilometers. It consists of 6 streets, 12 towns and 12 townships. In the sixth census in 2010, there were 536,000 household registrations in the Qianjiang District (475,000 permanent residents), of which 73.3% were ethnic minorities, mainly Tujia and Miao. Qujiang District is a national agricultural standardization demonstration county.
