Qujiang Introduction: Qujiang District, Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, including Qujiang District, 111 years ago (Hanwu Emperor Yuan Ding six years) set the county, in May 2004 withdrew the district. It was listed on August 3 of the same year. It is located in the central part of northern Guangdong and the upper reaches of the Beijiang River. Since the Qin and Qian immigrants went to Guangdong (221 BC to 206 BC), it was the beginning of the Han Dynasty. In the Tang and Song Dynasties, the Central Plains people avoided the ridges, and the Chinese species flourished and the Cantonese culture declined. Qujiang's indigenous households are mostly from the hustle and bustle, and they have experienced generations. The Hakka people account for more than 80% of Qujiang, and they have Hakka language. Qujiang is known as the “hometown of non-ferrous metals” and has many large-scale industrial enterprises such as Shaoguan Iron and Steel Plant and Shaoguan Power Plant. The reserves of hydropower resources amount to 268,700 kilowatts, and the forest coverage rate is over 70%. It is one of China's 400 hydropower rural electrification counties (districts), one of the country's 100 key coal-producing counties (districts), and the province's key forestry counties ( One of the districts).
