Introduction to Guidong: Guidong County is located in the southeastern part of Hunan Province, and belongs to Quzhou City. In the fourth year of Jiading in the Southern Song Dynasty (1211), Guiyang (now Yucheng) Lingling and Yicheng Township were set up in Guidong County. In the seventeenth year of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty (1678), Wu Sangui became the emperor in Hengzhou, avoiding the tampering of Guidong County as Yangping County. In February of the following year, it was renamed Guidong County. In November 1958, Guidong and Yucheng merged into Qigui County. In June 1961, the establishment of Guidong County was resumed. Mainly Han people, there are ethnic minorities such as Yao (142 people) and Yi people (332 people), who live in Caidong Village of Qingshan Township, Duyu Village of Qijiang Town and Zhongkeng Village of Qingquan Town. The local surnames are mainly Luo, Li, Wang, Chen, Guo, Hu, Fusui Cui and other surnames.
