Introduction to Shishou: Shishou is on the bank of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, the geographical center of the two lake plains (Jianghan Plain, Dongting Lake Plain), the southern end of the central axis of Hubei Province, and an important node city in the Yangtze River Economic Belt. In the south, Hunan Anxiang, Huarong, North to Jiangling, East to Jianli, and West to Public Security. As of 2010, the city's territory is 1,427 square kilometers. It includes 14 townships, towns, offices and economic development zones with a population of 626,000. Shishou is a landscape garden city. The stone head is a plain and has a hill. The south of the Yangtze River is the Gaochun Plain, with the plain in the middle and the plain in the north. The whole terrain is slightly higher in the northwest, lower in the middle, and inclined to the southwest. The ground elevation is generally between 31m and 36m. Shishou is named after Shishou Mountain in the north of the city. The Yangtze River Swan Island Bailf Dolphin Nature Reserve, Swan Island Wetland Elk Nature Reserve is in Shishou City, and Shishou was awarded the title of “Hometown of Chinese Elk”.
