Wufeng Introduction: Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County belongs to Yichang City, Hubei Province, in the southwest of Hubei Province, adjacent to the mainstream of the Yangtze River and Hunan Province. It borders Yidu City and Songzi City in the east, Shimen County in Hunan Province, Hefeng County and Badong County in the west, Changyang Tujia Autonomous County in the north, and 60 kilometers from Zhijiang Railway Station and Zhicheng Railway Station. From Yihuang Expressway, Hurong Expressway, 318 National Highway, 80 km from the Three Gorges Airport, the 325 Provincial Highway runs through the county. It is dominated by karst landforms, with an average elevation of 1,100 meters, which is a minority mountainous county. Wufeng County has a land area of 2,372 square kilometers, including 288,000 mu of cultivated land. It consists of 5 towns, 3 townships, 97 villages, 11 community neighborhood committees, and 208,000 people, of which 84.77% are ethnic minorities. There are many species in the territory, and Linte, hydropower, minerals, tourism and other natural resources are abundant. The forest coverage rate is as high as 81%, which is the hometown of Chinese tea, the national tobacco leaf production base and the GAP demonstration base of Chinese herbal medicine. In 2009, it was awarded the title of “China's Famous Tea Township” by Hubei Tea Society, and was successfully ranked among the “Hubei Tea Counties”. Hydropower installed capacity reached 187,000 kilowatts. In 2010, it was named as “Hubei Tourism Strong County” by the People's Government of Hubei Province.
