Introduction to Yucheng: Yucheng County, which belongs to Xuchang City, is in the hinterland of the Central Plains. It is the first in the east of the Fu Niu Mountain Range and the west is the eastern edge of the Huanghuai Plain. By the end of 2013, Yucheng County had jurisdiction over 9 towns and 7 townships including 7 neighborhood committees and 441 villages, 920 square kilometers, with a cultivated land holding of 965,000 mu, basic farmland of 821,000 mu and a population of 857,100 (2013). In 2013, the county's GDP reached 28.02 billion yuan, and the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size was 16.08 billion yuan. The public budget revenue exceeded 1 billion yuan for the first time, of which taxes accounted for 73% of public budget revenue. In 2011, the comprehensive economic strength of Yucheng County ranked 23rd in the province. It was rated twice in the province as “the county's ten-county economic development county”.
