Introduction to Longting: Longting District is one of the districts of Kaifeng City, Henan Province. It is located in the northeast of Kaifeng City and is named after the famous Dragon Pavilion in the Northern Song Dynasty. The area is west to Daliangmen, north to Huanghetan, east to Jiefang Avenue, south to Hedao Street, Xufu Street, east of Zhongshan Road and north of Ximen Street. The area is 91.51 square kilometers, 128,000 people (2010). There are many lake ponds in Longting District. There are Liuchi and Huanghetan outside the city. The Huangtong River runs through the area from north to south. The communication between Longting Lake is the main channel for sewage and flood control. The northern branch of the city passes through the area and the front of Longting. The Pan and Yang Lakes have a long history of 0.65 square kilometers. They are the 15th year of Ming Chongzhen (1642), and the Yellow River gap is filled with water. Longting District is a famous cultural and tourist scenic spot in Kaifeng City. The annual tourist reception accounts for more than 70% of the total number of Kaifeng City. The Longting Scenic Area is one of the first AAAA-level scenic spots in the country.
