Introduction to Lushan: Shandong Laoshan District in Rizhao City is located in the southeast of Shandong Province, bordering on the Yellow Sea in the east, Yinan County and Jixian in the west, Donggang District in Rizhao City in the north, and Lianyungang City in Jiangsu Province in the south; the coastline is 25 kilometers long, 759 Square kilometers, as of 2009, 420,000 people, including 110,000 cities. In September 2004, the State Council approved the establishment of the new port area, Lushan, which became the urban sub-center and the Lingang industrial base of Rizhao City (emerging port city, “UN Habitat Award” city). Lushan has a long history and a splendid culture. As early as the Shang Dynasty more than 3,000 years ago, it was once the capital of the country. Confucius, the Confucian sacred master of the Chinese Confucianism, once worshipped Xiang Yu (the later known as the "Sheng Gong") as a teacher, and the "Three Character Classics" recorded "Xi Zhong Ni, Shi Xiang Yu, Gu Shengxian, Shang Qin Xue". The Dongshan District, the resident of the Laoshan District Government, was established in the 17th year of Ming Hongwu (AD 1384). It was one of the “Four Famous Guards” of the country at the time with Tianjin Wei, Weihaiwei and Lingshanwei.
