Fengcheng Introduction: Fengcheng is located in the central part of Jiangxi Province. The city has a jurisdiction of 2,450.07 square kilometers. The city is 74.4 kilometers long from north to south, 57.5 kilometers wide from east to west, and 14.25 million people live in 2013 (2013). Fengcheng City is adjacent to Linchuan District of Fuzhou, Jinxian County, Chongren County, Le'an County and Xingan County in the south, Yushu City and Gao'an City in the west, and Xinjian County and Nanchang County in the north. Fengcheng is also one of the top 100 counties and cities in the country's county economy, and has a reputation as the hometown of longevity in China. The Zhejiang-Jiangxi Railway, the Beijing-Kowloon Railway, the Shanghai-Kunming Expressway, the Gan-Guang Expressway, the 105 National Highway, and the Lancang Golden Waterway pass through. There are large-scale coal mines in the country, Fengcheng Mining Bureau and Fengnan Power Plant, a large thermal power plant in Jiangnan. In October 1988, the State Council approved the withdrawal of the county to set up the city. Fengcheng is one of the more powerful counties and cities in Jiangxi. The main souvenirs are the famous frozen rice sugar and selenium-enriched rice.
