Introduction to Zhanggong: Zhanggong District, an important cobalt and tungsten smelting base in China. In the southwestern part of Jiangxi Province and the northwestern part of Cangzhou City, it is the residence of the Cangzhou Municipal Committee and the Municipal Government. The rivers in Zhanggong District have Zhangjiang River and Gongjiang River, and the confluence is the Minjiang River. The ancient city of Zhangzhou is surrounded by low mountains, hills and Zhangjiang, Gongjiang and Lancang Rivers. It is known as the “First City of Qianli River”. The mountains in the Zhanggong District are divided into three parts: the east, the southeast and the northwest by the three rivers of Zhang, Gong and Yu. They belong to the Wuyi Mountains, the Jiulian Mountains and the Luojing Mountains. There are mountains in the whole territory as barriers, and Sanjiang nourishes the land in the middle. In the Zhanggong District, ancestors lived here more than 4,000 years ago. Since ancient times, the ancient city of Zhangzhou has been the important town of Jiangnan that communicates with Yunnan, Hunan, Guizhou and Guangdong. There are more than 400 places of scenic spots and historic sites, and it has the reputation of “Songcheng Museum”. Among them are Bajingtai, Yugutai, the ancient city wall (the only existing brick city wall in the Song Dynasty), and the national key cultural relics protection unit Tongtian Rock Cave. In 1994, it was named by the State Council as a national historical and cultural city. (Overview image comes from)
