Introduction to Guoyang: Guoyang County is located in the northwestern part of Anhui Province, in the hinterland of the Huaibei Plain. It is known as the source of Laozi’s hometown in the center of Chenzhou. It is a strategic location in the central region, and S202, S307 Provincial Highway, Qinglan Railway, Yusu Railway, Handan Railway, Jiyu Expressway and Class 5 Waterway pass through. 2,107 square kilometers, 45 square kilometers of urban built-up area. It consists of 4 streets, 20 towns, 1 forest farm, 1 industrial park, and 1.6 million people. There are abundant tourism resources in the volcano, including the Taoist ancestral home Tianjing Palace, Daoyuan National Wetland Park, Yukang Tomb, Chen Yi's ruins, Fan Wei, the former site of the 捻军会盟, the former residence of Zhang Lexing, the former headquarters of the Fourth Division of the New Fourth Army and Hui Mountain Martyrs Cemetery, Dongyue Temple, East Taiqing Palace, Yinxi Tomb and other attractions. The State Council approved the opening of the city and county, the historical and cultural city of Anhui Province, the advanced county of scientific development in Anhui Province, the first batch of pilot counties in Anhui Province, the civilized county in Anhui Province, and the leisure and tourism city in the Yangtze River Delta. Guoyang County is a medium-sized city under construction in Anhui Province. In November 2012, Guoyang County was approved to be included in the “National Central Plains Economic Zone Plan”, and the development and construction of Guoyang entered the national strategic level.
