金刚腿是闽江胜景，传说金刚在此洗脚而得名。濒江陡伸的巨石，形似金刚脚穿靴子濯足江滨，腿下悬空部分长达26米，是闽江的天然航标。岩上有1921年福建省长李厚基所书"金刚腿"和著名海军宿将萨镇冰题的"金刚濯足"等刻字。"金刚腿"适处闽江淡水与海水相遇之处，所以传说更加神奇
