St Lawrence Parish (St. Laos Zuotang District) is located in the southwestern part of the peninsula, surrounded by water on three sides and adjacent to the lobby area. The area is only 0. 9 square kilometers (13.6% of the peninsula), population 4 . 56,000 people with a population density of 5 0 0 4 people per square kilometer. This district is one of the earliest areas in Macao. North along Xinma Road and its southern side is part of a thriving business district connected to the lobby area. The east coast is the cargo terminal belt and the southern section has the largest container terminal in Macau. Inwardly, it is the riverside new street that serves as the old coast. It used to be the main mooring place for fishing boats, so there are many fish bar, seafood, boat and fishing gear supply stores. It is one of the first reclamation areas in Macau, and it is an old industrial and commercial mixed area. The south is the Guiyang Mountain and the Mage Mountain. The scenery is beautiful. There are many villas with different styles on the hillside. It is a high-end residential area in Macau. The east bank is close to the South Bay and the West Bay. The embankment is the boulevard, which has always been a good place for tourists. South Bay is undergoing a large-scale reclamation project, which is a tourist area and a high-end commercial and residential area. The northeast is the seat of the head office of the Australian Government, the Government Office, the City Hall, etc. It can be said that it is the administrative center of Macao.
